Welcome to our Wonderful New Website!

The Diamond Group Ltd web development team have done a wonderful job in getting this website ready and fully launched. Many thanks to Don, Gurjit and Mason for all their help.

Also a thank you to Kerry and Zeena at Stagecoach for helping us sort out meta tags, layout and all the other technical issues of the website.

Teamwork has been key in achieving this outcome. As with all of our InterAct workshops across the country, teamwork is fundamental to giving the children we work with a valuable time with us. I suppose the clue is in the name – InterAct.

So teamwork is a key value. So are the values of Confidence-Building, Self-Expression, Laughter, Fun, Fun and Fun (so good we named it 3 times!).

There are many ways in which InterAct crosses the path of people in the UK: children, adults, supporters, volunteers, partners, suppliers, donors – all these groups and sub groups interact with us to create a multi-faceted team ethic and help us create a place where children with different and diverse needs can flourish.

If you want to get involved contact us now and be part of the inspirational story at InterAct.

Quality Training in a Safe Environment

If you're looking for low cost acting, singing, dancing workshops why not consider Stagecoach Charitable Trust for your child, as in addition to movement classes our students also take music classes and drama classes. As a charity for performing arts for disadvantaged children we believe that music classes and acting lessons complement movement classes to enable our students to become confident young people.

Unlike most dancing schools Stagecoach Charitable Trust puts equal emphasis on drama classes and music classes. In our movement classes kids learn a wide range of skills from performing arts to self-esteem, communication and teamwork. Our dance classes do not include ballet or tap.

Stagecoach drama classes also offer a wide variety of subjects including improvisation, mime, characterisation, voice etc. Future employees will look for this variety of expertise in students as communicators.

In addition to movement classes, drama lessons, and music classes, Stagecoach students also have the opportunity to take part in shows in musical theatre. Preparation for these will typically take place as part of movement lessons and other classes. In addition some Stagecoach Charitable Trust projects run outreach projects for the older students.

Stagecoach Charitable Trust is not a dance school; it's an after school performing arts workshop for disadvantaged children and young people. Many Stagecoach students attend movement classes at other dance schools. These dancing classes may be in ballet or tap dancing, which Stagecoach Charitable Trust doesn't cover. Stagecoach dance classes include jazz, hip-hop, stage, and a variety of o3ther styles.

As in many a kids dance class, the normal content is warm ups to learning steps and working routines. Similarly, other drama schools may provide the same ingredients as Stagecoach Charitable Trust, but Stagecoach Charitable Trust offers all these performing arts classes under one roof.

People often wonder how Stagecoach Charitable Trust manage quality control. This is taken care of by an independent company who train inspectors to assess drama classes, movement lessons and music lessons. Each Stagecoach school is inspected yearly by an Inspector who will typically spend time watching the movement class and the other classes. Stagecoach believes that parents appreciate these spot checks, which we believe are unique to the Stagecoach organisation. In addition to this all of our teachers and volunteers are CRB checked and follow a strict Child Protection Policy specifically developed for Stagecoach Charitable Trust workshops.
